Tuesday 24 June 2025 Building Works at Our Nursery Blooms children have heard and noticed some strange occurrences over the last week at nursery. The building works have provoked curiosity within our young learners who have diligently observed and reported back on any activity seen throughout their day. The workforce have been busy with some large equipment in order to replace our perimeter fence, imagine our excitement as we were invited down to take a look, and sit in the vehicle. New vocabulary was learned in relation to the different parts of the excavator- boom, blade, bucket, cab and caterpillar tracks, extending our breadth of knowledge of the big wide world.

The day is organized by various charities, including Brain Tumour Research in the UK, and aims to raise awareness about brain tumors, which are among the deadliest forms of cancer. By wearing a hat, participants can show their support for those affected by brain tumors.
