Monday 20 March 2023 Rose Buds Trip to the Florist! On Monday Rose Buds went on a blustery walk to the florists. We went to collect flowers for our loved ones to celebrate Mother’s Day. The children were filled with excitement as they pointed out what they could see and joined in with nursery rhymes on the journey.

Monday 23 January 2023 Blooms, Goldilocks & the Three Bears! We had another great week of learning in Blooms. We have been reading the story “Goldilocks and the three bears” and have been using our role play and small world area to act out narratives from the story, we even had a bear tea party. We have enjoyed exploring our outdoor environment and using the bikes. In Maths we have been comparing sizes and using the props from the story to compare small, medium and large. We are excited to learn and play more next week.

Monday 3 October 2022 Blooms Class Settling In... Welcome to Rose Hill @ Hednesford Nursery for our new academic year. Blooms class of nursery children aged three have settled quickly into their new class and have enjoyed exploring the indoor and outdoor environment. Our enabling environment allows children to use open ended resources to choose to play with, they are in charge of their play – what to do, what to use, what it is about and whether to play alone or with others.
